I've seen the kicker front and rear speakers on E-bay. I have a few questions about them for anyone who have bought them.

Are they worth installing if you keep the stock stereo? (I've got the 6 cd stereo).

How easy are they to install? Do I have to remove the door panels? Is there any soldering involved or are they just plug ins?

Can you hear a definite difference in sound quality?

What about their sub-woofer, does it fit right in to where the existing sub-woofer is?

I replaced just the front speakers (part #77KICK15) and it was a big difference from the factory Infinity speakers. They rock! You can tell the difference with having the oem amp. More than enough power and sound for me. I have the REN MyGig and 8 speaker Infinity system w/sub. I still wonder about replacing the rear door speakers with the Kickers, however they do not have a kit that swaps the rear door tweeters, only the 6 3/4 speaker, so I hesitate on swapping those.

You do have to pull the upper dash apart and remove the door panels. It's easy! Just get the plastic tools from Crutchfield or other places to do it without damaging the plastic components of the dash and doors.

You'll notice a difference! Their sub is a 10 or 12 inch speaker and will NOT fit the 8 inch opening of the factory sub enclosure without modding it.

No, those won't work with the 8-speaker system being the system has the built-in crossover. For the 77KICK10's the tweeter is on the 6 3/4" woofer and no way to connect it to the oem tweeter connector.

I ran into that problem when trying the Alpines in the front doors. No high range! It would only add thump and mine is good enough for now.

What speaker system do you have now? The 4, 6, or 8 w/sub?

That's good to know, thanks. I've got the 8 speaker system as well. I'm undecided on upgrading the speakers myself. They don't call me "Mr. All Thumbs" without reason.

Just go with the Kicker fronts and you'll notice a big difference! Crank it up and you'll really notice it! The amp sounds twice as powerful.

They even said if I leased it that if were to turn it back in they take out and replace the old ones for free. Even the remote start as well. Not gonna but pretty cool offer something like that

If you use the Mopar kits, they are direct replacements and plug in. If aftermarket, you have to splice. My Alpines from Crutchfield included adapters from the plug to the speaker via crimp on connectors.

The 77KICK15's won't fit the rears for the tweeters, different speaker. You could mod them out I guess but the rear tweeter speakers are a pop-in unit to the door plastic and much larger. Already looked into this when installing my fronts. You can replace the 6 3/4 rear with the 77KICK10's only if you have the 6-speaker system (no rear door tweeters).

Just on the fronts the 15's are quite a diference.

I just just have the factory radio with the six speakers, but I amp'd and subbed the rear. Very happy with the kickers though!

Both the 15's and 10's would work for you, but sounds like you already have them??
