I have the stock 6 disc changer that says dvd on the the front. can someone tell me if it has video in and out plugs on the back or will i have to wire it to pins 6 and 7? Ive read a few threads and one said yes there is, but it looks like everyone has been wiring it to the pins. I just want to know what i should be preparing myself for.

From the threads ive been reading you have to wire it. Although i havent taken this task up yet. There are some connector print out in the custom audio/interior forum.

There is no jack on the rear for video. I used a connector from an old pc fan that I had laying around.

Just connect it to 6&7 and wire it to your screen. Pop a dvd in slot 6 and enjoy.

best would be to run a wire right off the battery with an inline fuse near the battery. an easy splice place i used was the cigarette lighter.

I think the cigarette lighter (power socket) can handle 10A, which is way more than enough for a small LCD.
