Hey peeps, I was wondering how many would do this. As pretty much everyone know there is a jeep wave. I taught it would be a good idea to start waving at every other Nitro also, I started doing it, and some people reply, but it would be a cool thing to start doing!!!!

I will, I noticed the harley wave a few years back w/ my dad....they take the left hand extend it straight down and point the first finger downward...it is pretty cool when you have 20 or so bikes on one side going to a poker run and 20 or so on the other side coming from a run and they all do the wave.

also, my job is on off the interstate and whe have a group of patriot riders and we have had some soldiers that paid the ultimate price for our freedom return home, they take a particular path and part of it runs in front of my job, so when we are out there w/ our flag and the riders are behind the soldier and his family they all give us the wave w/ the right hand.....it is enough to bring a tear to your eye. soooo hey lets do the nitro wave!!!

I've been waving to Nitro owners since I bought mine back in February. I NEVER get a wave back. I still try though...

Likewise, Marauder. I have given the wave &/or beep of the horn to most every Nitro I see on the road (quite a bit more now days). But I get more freaky looks from Nitro owners than anything else. Occasionally someone will wave/honk back.

I have a tendancy to wave at drivers of other vehicles like whatever I'm driving (except the the shop truck) but frankly I live in a place that there are so many motorcycles out I just can't wave at them all. I might as well get a third arm and sew it to my jacket. If I'm out in the country and another person comes up on me I'll wave but here in town it's just way to demanding. Nitros right now are rare in this area so If I'm driving mine (which isn't often because my wife is having an affair with it) I wave to other Nitro drivers. I still havn't pulled into a gas station and met another Nitro driver. Ive put maybe 100 miles on it. My wife is driving the new off of it. She hasn't driven her Mustang since we got it. I had to drive hers the other day just to keep it loose. I think she enjoys that Nitro more than any new vehicle she has had in a while.

Here in the rural midwest everybody and I mean EVERYBODY waves. So how would anybody know the difference ?

Up here in Minnesota I've so far seen only 2 other Nitros, so there aren't really that many to wave to... But I try when I see them!

I get the same reaction when I wave. I don't get this reaction when I wave at other Vette drivers when driving my Vette.

Maybe its because I live in Cary which is a world of of minivans and soccer moms. Maybe some of them converted to SUV's.

I am sure the Nitro wave gets a better reception in Canada than in the US where so many people look at cars as appliances.

okay, had the pleasure of meeting a sister just now....we were both dropping off at the service dept. she turned and said hey my nitro sister and gave me the hang ten sign(thumb, first finger and pinpie out middle and ring finger tucked)

wifes eh, but then they wave at an Avon or Mary Kay Seller, LOL J/K
