A trip to pick my daughter up at collage, I took out the tray too, managed to fill the small space at the top after a trip to a grocery store. (Its dirty ,came though a rain storm) got about 23.8 mpg 220 or so mile round trip, went totally empty, I was a not happy about leaving a tool box and tire inflater at home but needed the room. No problems! Like HighVoltage said" its like bubble wrap for the butt" really nice on the interstate, I saw only 2 other Nitros a black slt and a red R/T. even with a rain storm it was a nice trip! :ura1:

Lookin' good in there. A week after I bought mine, I took a trip to Ikea with a buddy who just moved into an aparment. The Nitro was so full of boxes of furniture to put together, I almost didn't have room to put in in the truck! We managed to get all the stuff (and him) back to the apartment. The only working mirror was my driver's side mirror. I had a box going the whole length front to back (front seat was folded forward) and couldnt see out of my passenger side window at all. That made it fun as we stopped at a burger joint on the way home. Backing out of a parking spot, I cut off some chick in a Camry....
