Inside the jack compartment in the back I found a loose connector with many pins (did not count them ).
Does somebody know what is it for?

it sounds like u might have the hook up 4 some mod but i dont quiet kno what all u have in ur vehicle and wat u dont have wish i could help more i dont think something is disconnected tho!!!)

Can you take a picture of the connector and post it here? Then we can try to help you solve this.

Maybe that is the place they hook up the trailer light harness to if you have a towing package?

maybe that's why I couldn't find it on my Nitro! :chuckle:

So that means that somebody intruded in my Nitro and stole my Intrusion Module… :SHOCKED:

Interesting! In the early PT Cruisers, there was a connector in the console that you could plug a module into that would turn the passive alarm into an intrusion alarm, soif somebody broke a window and reached in, it would go off. I wonder if we get that part if we can add that to our American systems?
