Picked up my orange SLT up on Saturday June 16. Finally!! it took just about 3 Month to get here. Had to order one straight from the factory since I could not get the options I wanted from one on the lot.
LOVE MY NITRO!!! I am usually not a 4 wheel person (drive bikes in the Summer and an old car in the Winter), but this vehicle has me drooling .
Everything would have been fine if the dealer would not have been involved. I had undercoat, mud guards, rust and paint protection and scotch guard applied by the dealer (Westlock, Canada). Promptly someone there forgot to tighten the driver rear wheel and I just about lost it going home... All 5 lug nuts came loose to the point where I could undo them by hand..
Needless to say that I will choose another dealer for maintenance..
The Nitro itself... awesome!!! Love it!! :Racing:

Congratulations on your purchase. You will enjoy your new Nitro. I have certainly enjoyed mine.

You were fortunate nothing serious happened when the lug nuts fell off! I can certainly understand your intent to seek another dealership for maintenance.

Do you have any modifications/additions planned?

Welcome from Cowtown

Welcome to the forum. I've been registered for about a month now, and the membership is awesome overall.
By the way, I grew up less than 100 klicks from you ... just north of Edm!

Mods/additions are planned... Got the chrome package with my purchase. will add the grill inserts and some other mopar add-ons. Ordered the mopar floor mats. Am thinking of doing some airbrush maybe over the Winter.. something real subtle. As a hobby I paint bikes, thought it would look cool to have something on the back of the Nitro..

Dealer (owner) came out yesterday (80KM) and brought a new wheel since the old one sustained damage. He had to take it back to the shop in order to replace the studs. Brought it back fuel'd and washed. Good service!!
518 km on Nitro.. best SUV out there!!!
