Metra wiring harness. Need Help!!! Please.

Read my last post in this thread. Thanks. Has anyone used one yet?I only have the basic Single cd Radio in the Nitro.If so was the any problems with it.Thanks.

Yep I have the Metra CHTO-03 installed currently. Worked flawlessly. What questions do you have?

No many questions.I was just worried about getting one only because they are hard to find.except on ebay. I usually get everything for installation from Crutchfield.But They don't have any and don't know when they are going to get them.Thanks for you input.I just need the basic harness.I don't have any extras with the OEM radio.

I use the chto-03 as well with my pioneer aviv-d3. It works perfectly and has all the necessary wiring, in the correct configuration.

They were late to produce them and very scare originally. I actually was one of the first people in the country to get ahold of one when they came out.

I was too, but I had to send mine back (chto-03 long story). Currently have the XSVI-6522 installed. I'm waiting for another chto-03.

Help Please!!

I have the Metra XSVI-6522 harness. What wire's do I have to run seperatly to my after market radio. If it's the 12v acc (red) where do I locate that wire and what do I do about the illumination (orange) that's not in the harrness. And the dimmer wire on the harness. Will it work. I don't have anything fancy.It's just the JVC HD radio. I'm been installing radio's for 15 yrs and haven't come across an issue like this before. Thanks.

Umm Yeaa same problem with the illumination wire...

Has anybody figured it out yet...I have the avic n3 and in my sebring it would automatically go to night mode when i turn on my lights but in the nitro it just stays on day time mode....any ideas?
