Hi Midwesterners! My wife came up with & idea of starting a Midwest Nitro group with maybe some summer time outings. Just thought we would throw out the idea to all of you & see what kind of feed back we get & we can go from there. So what do you all think? Any ideas/thoughts?

We are not getting much response to our idea of a midwest /great lakes area outing, so maybe if we throw out a suggestion idea we can get more people interested, The Wisconsin Dells area is a large tourist attraction town with many extreme water parks, hotels/motels & camping, tons of attractions from go carts to bungee jumping, land, air & water shows, magic shows, permanent carnival, The town is full of attractions like Ripley's Believe it or not, Lazer gun tag, Lots of souvenir shops, fudge, T-shirts & plenty of places to eat, etc. Too much to list. What about having our outing there or near there? its only about 2 1/2 hrs from Chicago, & about in the middle of Wisconsin so people from Minnesota or Michigan wouldnt be too far away. Just an idea, trying to firm up some plans for this summer. What do you all think?

Was hoping for a little more interest, but now that the weather is getting better maybe we can get more people interested? My wifes family is in the Chicago suburbs & we are down there about once a month or so , so that would be fine with us too. How about the rest of you? Got any ideas where to meet & greet down there?

Hi everyone ! I originally started this thread in Feb of '08 & due to lack of interest was at least postponed until further notice. However there is another one planned for Michigan or may have already happened in another thread. Michigan is a little too far for me. Maybe we can get another one started in the spring for Wis / IL ?
