I recently purchased the Bosch 1200 Scanner with Code Connect. I was getting these Random misfire codes and (P0456 Evaporator Very small leak code) and Loose Gas Cap code. The scanner recommended I replace the ESIM Assembly (Evaporative System Integrity Module, it is attached to the front of the EVAP canister). After the installation was complete the loose gas cap code was immediately removed. Two days later the misfire code was removed. I did not clear the codes with my scanner since the vehicle did that on it's own.

    Strange that...
Misfire code should have nothing to do with the EVAP leak.
    But interesting none the less.
Glad to hear it is fixed.
