Got a P Code that indicates a misfire in cylinder three. I have a 2009 Nitro with 78k miles. No engine trouble to this point. I have read the list of possible sources for the PCode, but anyone here had the same issue? Of the potential origins of the alarm, what is the most likely? I am not looking for an online diagnosis, so hold your criticim long enough to actually read this post. What, of the possibilities, is the most common?

Things we need to know first.
What engine do you have?
When were the plugs changed last?
What plugs are in it?
What was the Code #?
Any Mods or changes right before the code appeared?

The engine is a 3.7. The plugs were changed about 50 thousand miles ago. The plugs kind are unknown. The code was p0303 and no mods in more than 2 years.

3.7 plugs should be changed every 30k. Use ZFR6F-11G plugs. I use NGK.
Do not use platinum plugs in the 3.7! They will only cause problems.
