G'Day Eh?
Just wondering ...... anyone have any ideas on "Mom Handles" (where/ how to/how much)
I know that's not the proper name for them, but I know I'm not the only one looking to help Moms climb into a Nitro! We've got the steps, check out "kaleos" mom steps!
We're now looking for some type of handle on the window post to help get them up & in!:thk:
My Mom keeps eying my E-brake and gearshift to grab on to ..... if she'd only toss that purse (suitcase size) in first .... it might be easier .... ;)

Hope there are some ideas floating around out there ......
Thanking you all in advance!

yes that would be an AWESOME install, we do have issues w/ tossing our suitcases in first, I have started putting mine in the back seat, I already open that door to put in my clothes and workout bag, so I put the purse back there too. the hadles would be great!

I would like to install a set also. But with the curtain airbags I wouldn't know how. Guess I will have to check out a New Liberty and see where they are in it.If those even have the grab handles.I just looked at the Jeep and the grab handle is on the dash. I wonder if that would work in the Nitro?

Grab Handles Found !!!!!!!!!!!

:wavey:

G'Day!

Finally ......
After a lot of searching , I think I might have found the answer to getting Mama into my Nitro! :thk:
Without her pulling off my emergency brake!
Was watching an info-mercial about this handle you attach with suction cups ..... called a "GET a GRIP"....
Found said item in my local "Bed, Bath, & Beyond" store for only $ 17.99 Can.!
I'll not have the chance to test it till Mom's next appointment, but it looks like it might work ...
It does say on package "NOT for elderly or disabled", :shakehead: but I'll still be helping her get in anyway.
Hopefully it'll just steady her a bit. Any help at this point, works for me!
Got one for in the tub too!
Just an idea for other "Mom" drivers .... ?
