Hi Nitroguys !

I have a 2.8 Diesel.
WIth 40 liters (yes...here is France...!) i can drive about 400-440 km.( yes...always same Europe units here !) So; i'm not really good in maths, so i think u can "translate" to have mpg/miles.

Sure its really over average car here in France, but no matter for me, i used my Nitro only for pleasure (go to work with my bycicle and train). So shut up to all these ugly "Greeners" who scratch lots of SUV in our towns !

I make certainly less environnemental damages that all those people who take their cars for all and nothing !

(im not sure that all of yours can understand...my english is really not good.. sorry...:shakehead:)

That works out to be about 31 mpg. That's pretty good, way better than the gas version.

I like reading what you type. Trust me your English is way better then my French, even though I did French at high school for 4 years and I live in a country where French is the second language. (sorry Quebecers).

I also like your comment to the "Greeners"...lol..good one..:chuckle:

Keep posting you're doing a good job.

It looks good! Like the door handles. Did you get them after-market? I noticed the side running lights behind the front wheel well. Those are not on the North American models.

Have you seen many other Nitros? In what part of France are you located?

Thanx guys for ur comments.
Neighbors and people in the streets stop and turn around the Nitro. Close to my little town, there is a festival with lots of people. I've cruised yesterday afternoon, and i can say ALL people turn head when they saw us !

I'm located in North East of France (look a map, just in the corner far on the right :chuckle:. Just close to Germany (6km), and 30km North of Strasbourg. At this day, i dont see another Nitro on the streets. Hope not to see to much. Dont like to have a car that all people have !

For he handles, i buy it on Ebay. Was a california seller. Handles gives a nice touch to the car. Only one critic : 4mm space between original and chrome handle.

And u guys ? where u from ?

I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, just across the river from Detroit. I'm originally from Wigan in England, that's in between Manchester and Liverpool. Back in '98 I decided to move house but instead ended up moving countries. I went to live in the U.S.A, first I was in Ann Arbor then Canton, both in the state of Michigan. Eventually I moved to Canada. Who knows where next??
I have always been a huge cycling fan. I used to race in England, and I always wanted to spend a week following 'le Tour' but never got to do it. Maybe one year, hopefully in the Alps or Pyranean mountains.
I like to ride up L'alpe d'Huez..

That sounds great that heads turn, even in France! I'm from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. My wife has also noticed that people stop and stare and want to look at my Nitro!

Post some more pics of your Nitro. I'm sure there must be a lots of beautiful scenery to be seen! Any castles nearby?
