I bought a Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 Series for Nitro. The one I ordered was 2.25". Will this work or does it have to be 2.5"? :Racing:

The exhaust pipe is 2 1/2", so you would need a reducer. Actually 2 of them, one after the muffler to reconnect. It will be a little less flow, maybe it'll sound better? No way to cancel and order a 2 1/2"? It will make a much cleaner look and fit. I personaly don't think that 1/4'' will make any difference on such a low horse power engine. Putting flows on anything really is trial and error. When I put on my 40 flow I had no idea what to expect, just hoping it would'nt sound like a rice burner! :Racing:

I just placed a magnaflow cat back system on my 07 nitro. The installers had a time getting the dual exhaust bent around. Wow, does it sound good!! Nice low rumble at idle and slight roar on take off, then tops out to a low roar while driving. Truly does make a difference in horsepower.
