does sound like yours is faulty,
not had any issues with mine except sometimes same as 2010NitroHeat,

does it do the same thing if you press the lever to turn right or left ?

all Nitro's have this lane change feature, so only option is a new multifunction switch or as Jan says turn the option Off with a scan tool,
