Maybe you should just try a different multi function switch? I don't seem to have any of these problems with mine. I mean, maybe a couple times I tried to put the blinker on, and only got the lane change 3 blinks, but usually the blinker just turns right on.
Is yours still the stock Chrysler one? I bought a cheap aftermarket one for my last vehicle, and I ended up throwing it away, and getting a used stock one from a junk yard.
