Hi there!
I have a 2007 Nitro with the 3.7L engine and I’m having a few different problems. I’ll list them below. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
1. Jerking when accelerating or while using cruise control. This usually happens after 45-50mph but sometimes happens at lower speeds.
2. I have ZERO fumes coming from my exhaust, however when I come to a stop and park the vehicle/shut the vehicle off, I will notice black soot on the ground under my tailpipe.
3. I have a squealing sound coming from my front end, sound like from the passenger side(possibly a hub??)
4. When in gear and not stepping on gas pedal, it will BARELY coast, if it coasts at all.
I have engine codes on including bad HO2S, random misfire, cylinder 1 misfire, and EGR valve closed.
I attached a photo of a systems check done with one of my OBD2 Scanners.
