No, once the CD files(wav) have been converted to mp3 format, they are just like any other computer file.Does the quality of sound diminish each time the music gets copied?

I've copied using both methods... direct from CD and also from flash drive. Both work well.
One thing I've always thought a bit tedious was creating a playlist. The MYgig allows multiple playlists, but AFIK there is NO easy way to create or edit them. Creating them on the stereo itself is a PIA imo. It would be so much nicer to be able to create and edit them on a computer and then transfer them to the stereo.
