So i have had...many problems and ODD problems
This is my list, i hope to get it back by Friday!

1.Broken seatbelt, pulling away from B pillar.

2.Center stack where the phone charger is, if i pull to take the plug out the whole plastic front pulls away about 2 inches.I hope they FIX THAT! Thats just cheap.

3.Roof rails, passenger side has raised about 2 inches and has cracked in two. Drivers side raised. I should be getting a new set.

4.Flash the torque converter.

5.Fix for steering play at 65MPH, feels very wobbly and unsafe.

6.Rubber seal in the engine keeps falling off, SUPER GLUE!:D

7.Headlights, Brights go above the car up into the trees and are dim, Lows are very bright but only project about 25 feet.

That is all for now.
I hope they can fix it ALL!

Do all you people with the roof rails that are lifting have the cross bars? I am wondering if the rails are applying lifting force on the rails at higway speeds? i just don't know why they would be lifting if they were just the side rails. I have only had my Nitro a week or so but it is a 2007 and the rails look fine (so far).

mine were totally fine untill a month ago....I do not have the cross bars. I think with the poor design eventually everyone will have issues. hopefully b4 warranties expire

It was a bad original design on Dodge's part. Mine is an '07 also and the dealer replaced mine no questions asked. Keep an eye on yours, I hope yours stay ok!

I don't have cross bars, never tied anything onto the rails etc, and my rails lifted. New rails, new molding, no questions. :Racing:

BlueJet says "I think in your case it is because your Nitro is black!:chuckle: Just kidding dear!:wavey:"

Yes, i agree BJ......um, you're talking about there being no questions of fixing a black (woot) one right? :Racing:

Update!

OK.
I have made progress! But.... iv gone backwards too.

1.Headlights have been re alligned to state guidlines, but ill have to wait and see.

2.Roof rails are ordered and will be arriving by thursday, newly designed pair.

3.Center stack was void of warranty but my SM was kind and figured out a way to fix it for free.

4.Tranny, they flashed it and it actually made the problem MUCH worse. So they are ordering the Torque converter and it will be here in around a month due to the Very high demand for it.

5.Seatbelt...This is the backwards part.. it is void of warranty like the center stack because i had a subwoofer put in. How does this void a seatbelts warranty? i am not quit sure. but they had to take off that panel for the wiring and broke the adjuster, they say it is missing a part but i think i heard it fall when i tried to fix it so i may get it fixed without spending $50.

6.Steering play, they are not quit sure on this one, they cannot replicate it but i know that there is a TSB out for it. So i will tell them that if they say they cant do anything.

7.Rubber seal, FIXED:D

So overall a 4.5 out of 5 stars for the dealer.

a 1 out of 10 for where i had my woofer installed.

ok...

My headlights, roofrails, center stack, rubber seal are all taken care of.

A few problems have arose.
My seatbelt they blamed on my Woofer insallation, i just found out that it is actually a TSB for a part to break, so i dont know if i am going to fight that or try and fix it myself. They say its missing and i THINK that is what NitroTechs list says......:confused:I dunno.

Steering play, They origionally denied the fact that is happens and said there was nothing they can do. Then i told them there was a TSB for it and "Oh really? I would never have thought.". Its taken care of.
Do dealerships not have these lists???????????

TORQUE CONVERTER!!!:D:D:D
GOOD NEWS!
They actually have one at a nearby dealership that was sent with a Tranny but it wasnt "Needed", so i get it on Monday!
I feel sorry for the driver who thought it wasnt needed.

I would like to know if i can get this one little seatbelt part.
Because nothing is broken it is just missing a small piece but to replace it they need to order the whole new panel,
but this piece is a lot of $$$$$!
I will pay shipping!:wavey:

Not to offend anyone with their choice of trim levels, but after reading all the post on the 3.7 engine Nitro's maybe now I understand why my local dealer only had R/T Nitro's on the lot. I wonder if they knew this and only ordered R/T's? Prior to my purchase I read the post here and knew I wanted the 4.0, plus the fact that I had to have a R/T to go with my first two initials.

WOW WHAT COMPUTERS CAN DO!

Just got my Nitro back.

It is so quiet, i never realized how loud those loose roof racks were.
My tranny has a new flash, It is SOoOOOOOOOOOOO smoooooth
You cant even tell if has changed gears, and the engine is quieter to.
My torque converter problems are still their but it will be fixed on monday.
Smoother ride with the control arms adjusted.
My headlighs arent looking at the trees anymore.

My seatbelt.... i started to take off the cover, i touched it and it fell off!
My woofer installers broke EVERY tab and holder except for one on it. No wonder the dealer wouldnt fix it, i dont blame them!
Someone is getting an earfull tomorrow.

My center buttons, do not move an inch! they did a little when i got it from the dealer but i was able to snap it tighter in!

I still cant get over how smooth the gear changes and the engine idle are now though. Its like a new car..uh i mean one with less then 4,000 miles:chuckle:.

High speed wobble. Im not sure yet, i know the steering feels weird but it may just be because i am not used to it yet. Seems a little stiffer, the car feels more grounded with the control arms adjusted as well.

So i am overall happy.:D
I just gotta go to a certain store and demand $69 for a new seatbelt cover/adjuster!!!!!!!

Looks like a 30 minute job I could do in my garage and save me from taking it in for a day. Hmm...another project for next week.

So you really noticed a big difference in ride quality by removing the preload?
Yes, its smoother and the steering has more feedback, which i like.
Although they also flashed the tranny which made a BIG difference.

Thanks for the feedback on them. Guess I'll add the suspension TSB to my list for the week. I've only had the Nitro for 3 weeks and starting to get used to it, so to have it drive differently could be another break in period for me.

The suspension project will give me something to do at night while the wife's at work looking at everyone's blood in the hospital.
