First of all, I love my brand-new 2007 Sunburst Orange Nitro R/T :D and the MyGig system is very cool in many ways. But I have a couple of complaints:

1) Has anyone else noticed this? I have burned zillions of custom mix music CDs, which have the tracks "crossfaded" into one another. When I burn them (using Sony's CD Architect) I place track markers at the beginning of each tune, so although there is no space between songs, you can still skip tracks, etc. These play just fine on dozens of other CD players (auto, home, boombox, computer, etc). But on my Nitro's MyGig, there is a brief (half a second or so) silence whenever the CD reaches a track marker. So it ruins my nice, smooth crossfade every time!

What the heck is going on here? Is this a "feature"? A bug? I can't find any kind of way to access any advanced settings that would make it "force" a gap between selections. And I've never had this problem on any other player.

If this is something inherent in the electronics or software, and not changeable, could it be that my only solution would be to install a SECOND CD player and wire it into the MyGig Aux input? Eeecccghhh!

Anyone have any ideas?

2) Why the heck is the MyGig web site not available? The manual lists www.Chrsyler.com/MyGig all over the place, but all that does is redirect you to a Chrysler Sebring web page. Has anyone heard any of any plans to get the correct page up, or found any other URL for MyGig info/support? And how soon do you think it will be before there are "Hack My MyGig" web sites showing up? :p

Thanx! :)

One other thing...

I noticed that when I have music on the MyGig CRANKED, and I turn on the navigation/trip thing, the navigation's voice guide is essentially inaudible. When it tries to tell me to turn or whatever, all is hear is the left-channel music being muted. Apparently the main volume control only controls the music volume, not the robo-voice. Is there any way to turn "her" up? Otherwise, what good is it if you can't hear it?

Also, in the navigation menu, there is a place for her voice to be adjusted from 0 to 30.

As for the CD thing...I have had a couple of my custom cds freeze up in the player. I can eject and reinsert it and it plays fine. Shut it off and turn it back on...it just spins and won't read the disc!

How many of you have copied entire CDs over, then let them play random from the HDD. MyGIG tends to treat silent breaks in song prologues as breaks between songs. On random, the prologue gets treated as a separate song, no matter how short.

Also, the high dub speed limits the quality of the recording and causes false clicks and sound bytes in some copied songs. The original CD plays just fine. I wish they had given it the ability to copy to the hard drive during normal playback. I believe the quality of the dub would have been superior.
