Has anyone had to replace the Hard Drive in the MyGig? I have access to AM/FM/Sat but when I switch to the other inputs, it freezes for 7 minutes, then resets. I took it in to the dealership once and they told me it would be $2100 to replace the entire unit, but I think I could replace the HD for $130 and be okay. Still have access to NAV and UConnect. Any suggestions?

I have not done it, but I DID read about the procedure a while back. Unfortunately, I can't remember where it was. Google it, I'm sure you will find it.

Thanks. I've found a lot of tutorials, just hoping it's a fix and not a waste of money and time. Its driving me crazy#

Sounds to me that's what is wrong. The only thing the hard drive is used for is the media storage.
