Do you have one of the MyGiG models that HAVE Navigation? See this pic:

The NAV hard button is on the right side just above the AUX port and the USB port.

You can determine your MyGiG model quickly by looking for the designation below the AUX port:

My whole system is different than the one you show. Above my Aux jack is a selection knob. All the buttons you have on the right side run across the top of my system. Mine has two knobs and the other is the off and on. But as I was posting this my son and his girl came by and showed me were the eject button was located DOH on the left side of the disc slot. So much for old age, thanks for your help.
Nitro Tech, i had the MyGig installed by the dealer, and never got the system to recognize my voice, so i finally went back to the dealer and they tell me i need a voice activation kit, i paid $2,100 for the MyGig installed and now i need this kit? Do you agree or should that kit have been in the orginal installation. Would appreciate any comments from you or anyone who is familiar with this situation. It seems to me I'm getting screwed. :4-jump2:

My MyGiG was factory installed and came with the SAT radio, the NAV system and the U-Connect system which is the voice part! Maybe the dealer didn't install the U-Connect as part of your "deal" for the MyGiG. It is a separate but complimentary option.

That's why I thought a picture would explain what I have best! I didn't think you had a MyGiG radio. That's the best way, ask a young person! :Na_Na_Na_Na:

If they installed the RER mygig it has the uconnect module in it all you need is the mike with the u-connect connection, they have some kits you clip to your visor. I would first say that if you told your dealer that you wanted mygig for the hands free
phone which is the voice recognized. Then the dealer pulled a fast one on you. I would return and ask for a manger perferablly the dealer manager. Let him or her know that you can let as many people as possible know they pulled a fast one on you probabley on purpose. If you did do get the RER and instead you got the REN then the u-connet module needs to be installed.

Good Luck
