Anyone know what these things are? And what their purpose is?

They are attached to the tranny mount.

Counter weights, to damper roll and vibration from the drive train.

I DO know the answer!!! My friend and mechanic pointed mine those out when Blue was up on the rack one day. That is Dodge's way of fixing rattles without redesigning! They put those rubber donuts on or weld metal blocks on pipes and parts that rattle so we don't hear it in the interior. I have 3 or 4 on Blue. Kinda cheesy that they "fix" things that way rather than redesign the flow of parts so it is more stable!:shakehead:

They are Princess Leah's hair buns that have solidified enough to be used as big a$$ skate wheels then Dodge grabbed them and is now using them to "make it all better"!!!

It really is amazing that a manufacturer is settling with having to rely on inertial dampers to keep the car from vibrating itself apart. Truly amazing.
