I just installed the Extreme HID kit on my liberty.

I am in Canada, so yes daytime running lights are standard.

I hooked up the kit, and the DRLs work fine (no flicker) but when I turn on my high beams, they won't switch back to lows.

Once I switch to high beams, I have to turn them to low (and they stay on high) then turn them off, then turn them back on and the lows will be on.

I unplugged the high beam connection for the time being and just run on lows only, but I really want to figure out why these high beams wont switch back to low.

Any ideas?

Adonis...I'm assuming that after you switch from high to low beams ,you have given the lights time to make the "follow that demand"..There is a capacitor within the lighting system that makes that change... Mine takes 2-3 seconds to react to my demand to lower ...Your capaitor may be bad and needs replacing ...Also ...There is a diode that may be used to initiate the beam change.. It's inexpensive and can be found @ Radio Shack...Check with Steve @ Headlight Super Center.. I may just make that mod to my system just to avoid the change beam delay..
Good Luck,
Roadie :D

Could you explain more on how to do this? I have given sufficient time, it doesn't switch at all.

I am interested in learning how to do this fix that you are talking about.

Thanks!
