spent a few hours last night installing new shocks/struts, rough country lift, spacers, new tires, and some hammering/trimming to the inner fenders last night.
    Rough Country 2.5-2" lift: SKU687
    Rancho 9000xl strut shock
    Rancho 9000xl shocks
    265/50R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2
    1.25" hub-centric wheel spacer
some rear fender trimming and pinch-weld hammering....
rides GREAT!!!!! tires balanced perfectly, alignment camber and toe wise is dead on!!
i do need to adjust the shocks and struts a little for a little better ride quality and some very minor hammering to the back pinch-weld. barely rubs at full left and right turns....

i'll be posting some pictures later on....when it's not raining.
the JBA .25" strut spacer i had to level it did not fit the Rough Country lift kit, so i was not able to lift it 3" in the front and 2.5" rear BUT i do plan to add the JBA .25" clevis spacer to get 3" total and later on down the road replace the rear spacer with the JBA 2.5" coil spring.

2.5" wider (before lift) VERY minor rubbing with level spacer and factory size tire

I haven't seen or heard anyone on here with it. It actually sits a little higher than i thought it was going to lol
If it's not raining tomorrow i will take some pictures and post them.
So far, having it lifted one day, it rides smooth and having no problems other than the tires rubbing a hair on full turns

I went with the 2.5" extended shocks, but the rear is 2" lifted. I do plan to add the clevis spacer to the front and a coul sprind isolator to the rear....until i can get the 2.5" JBA rear coil springs.
Here some pictures i took today.
Before doing some more modifications i have a few things i need to take care of, so it may be a while before posting my next modification.
( Currently need a new master power window switch, side roof trims, gear selection switch, and TB :\ )

Very sweet! Good to see another Nitro in the air.
Al's "A" arms are great! Makes the alignment much easier to get into spec.
The rear shock Pics were taken before the lift was installed?
I don''t see the spacer under the spring.

no, the spacer is there. their's not enough lighting to see it. if you look closely at the bottom of the coil spring, you'll see the coil spring insulator. the coil spring insulator sits on top of the spacer.
since the shock is longer than i had expected, i think i'll buy the clevis spacer for the front and add a coil spring insulater...until i can replace the rear spacer with the JBA 2.5" coil spring.
eventually i'd like to get JBA coil-over struts for the front. (since this is my DD, i rarely ever see off road. my lift is mostly for looks and i don't really like sitting low or having a stock vehicle lol)

i was driving around today with the radio off and every once in a while i'd hear a really small rattle sound from the passenger rear.
shocks are tight and sway bar links are tight. i think the spacer might be moving or shifting a little. gonna get it up off the ground one day and see if i can figure out where the noise is coming from

how much height is gained by stacking a coil spring insulator on top of another?

Wow, then the rear shocks were way long. Do you know the specs on them?
If your rear shocks are like mine were, you will need to add a washer on the bolt(inside bracket) to take up the slack. Mine actually required 2 washers each.
On the rear it is 1-1, so you will gain the thickness of the isolator. approx 1/2" +/-.
On the front it is 1-2, so 1/4" = 1/2"

Better pics of the front and rear lift itself.
I'll be adding some washers tl the rear shocks to see if that takes care of the small rattle.
Did some more hammering today. Passenger tire clears by a hair at full turn and driver side rubs a hair at full turn. Gonna need to do a little more modification. Gonna get the clevis spacer for thw front to help and gain height and add a rear insulator to even it out

Ah, now I see it. It was kinda buried in the other Pics.
Yup, you will gain the thickness of the isolator on the rear.

    i need your opinion.
since i'm adding a coil spring isolator to the rear and clevis spacer on the front for 3.5" front and 3" rear, should i get the JBA steel braided brake lines for the 4" lift, extended bump stops (shaved them down a little) and sway bar links for the 4" lift???
again, i drive highway a LOT so off-road is hardly ever..
