Issues that this release will fix are:

-Graphics Accelerator for faster 3D Map performance.

-Sirius Speed and Flow information added to large metropolitan areas (Red, Yellow, Green Street traffic flow conditions).

-Process Data (Non-Surveyed Map data) will be used in the route calculation with a warning popup.

-Faster Point of Interest look up.

-New Bluetooth Drivers to fix UConnect phone operation including the Motorola V3m.

-Update of firmware for the 30GB (2008) HDD to prevent Master cylinder corruption.

-Wrangler support of Mopar Microphone using a CAN message of engineering menu.

-Play songs from same album in order of track number.

-A more robust application update download as well as navigation database update.

Hopefully the wait won't be too long now. Just to note updates will be specific to the different MyGIG models available (REN, RER, and so on.):smileup:

I agree! I don't want to play the songs in alphabetical order, I want to select the order! If this updated or added feature is in there, then you can make your own compilation "albums" and add the track number information before uploading them!

I'm not aware what the cutoff dates are between production run Nitro's equipped with MyGig's versus software revision releases. Sorry.

Thanks NitroTech, that was what I wanted to hear. A fix for the V3M and bluetooth. Do you know the version or release date? When I spoke with Chrysler and the uconnect tech support people, they stated 3/8 as a release date but did not know the version number. After some research from other boards, I found it was possibly 9.703??

Now I read the new release is 9.713. I found a guy at Mann Chrysler in Mt. Sterling Ky ( Jimmy @ 606-759-9703 ) who has made MyGig a specialty. He even has what he calls a "relearn Disc" for corrupted HD's. He also told me that even Five Star dealerships usually don't have the experience because the Chrysler network has SO much data every day, unless you are Looking for something specific,,,,

Apparently the updates do not arrive automatically at the dealerships when released. The tech can go on to Chrysler net and pull down "anything". Hope this is of some value, I AM a "newbie"

it's not you or your DSL, it's the website and their connection throttling!!

mine is downloading now, but I'm getting about 130kbps at the moment!

Latest NEWS Regarding RER Update

Don't UPDATE with 9.712!!!

Just learned some news of the latest update and wanted to inform everyone here of the current software that has been released.

This is the word from another forum regarding the 9.712 RER Update: This release is not an Official release and should still be considered beta.

9.712 was rejected by Chrysler. It breaks the starscan tool when it has a mic and hooked up with certain cars.

So unfortunately we are back to waiting for the official release.

I thought the 9.712 was an odd number as I had heard they were up to 9.9xx.
