I've been reading the forums for a couple months now - lots of good info.

My wife and I finally took the plunge last night and ordered a 2008 Nitro SXT. Black exterior, gray inside, sunroof, black tubular side steps, 17" wheels, ... Should be here in 4-6 weeks. Can't wait!

I'll throw up a picture when it gets here.

Hello germ, interesting user name eh!!
So you must realize after reading this forum we are all Nitro nuts and we can't get enough of our rides.
Do you intend to leave it stock or do you have any mods planned? You have 4-6 weeks to get planning if you do.
Pics would be welcomed once you get it...

I don't think the sales guy new much about the '08 - I just told him I wanted a price on one and it actually turned out to be less than the same options on an '07. I just figured (hopefully) any bugs would be all fixed for an '08. I know some of the option packs changed a little (ie. the SXT Appearance Group is now in the 24C package) and exterior black color is replaced with brilliant black (has the shiney specs in it).

I'm just ready for it to be in.

Probably won't do too much for now but I would like to get the Stainless Steel Door Entry Guards. They seem pretty nice with "NITRO" stamped in them. Other than that I'll have keep getting ideas from yall. =]

Just an update - our 2008 Nitro came in last Saturday - only took 3 weeks! Whoo-hoo! Will post some pics as soon as the camera shows up again.
