Welcome to the forum!!! The accelerator is drive-by-wire there no longer is an accelerator cable and it does have a different feel to it. I don't know how long you've driven the vehicle but it may just take some getting used to.

Making my presence known , does the response of the accelerator learn your driving style seems to have a lot of movement before engine responds

Welcome, and yes it does take some getting used to.
I have only had it for a couple of weeks I love it so far.I guess I just needed confirmation of my observation . it's great to have a site such as this to be able to air problems and praise and get an honest response Thanks for the response
