Hey All!

I'm a Dodge girl with a R/T Caliber and now a SXT Nitro. Picked it up two days ago and LOVE it! I went with the Electric Blue and the appearance package so it's color matched not with the grey cladding. Believe it or not it's only a $200 option.

I had to have my moon roof and I've having an over head DVD sytems installed along side my XM radio next week. I'm really excited about that!

Thinking about getting the stainless steel nurf bars but still on the fence. OH and the dealership ran some pin strips down the side with little ram heads. I left them on for now, still debating whether or not I like them. Input welcome!

I'm a forum host for another site but the Nitro area is real quiet so I'm excited to get to know you all and start posting here.

I was thinking of going with the Mopar one but it's $1400 and the screen is only 7"(I think). I went to a store here and was quoted $875-$950 for installation of a 10.2" Directed that pivots. This price also includes the cost of labor to hard wire and mount my XM Radio receiver and add a FM Modulator to my stereo to improve stereo quality on my XM.

I also considered the headrest system, a 7" in each head rest but it was $500 and the store said the directed brand is back ordered 2-3 months.

Well I got my new XM receiver, the Audiovox Express R, although I can't seem to get the FM modulator to pull the station through my radio. Guess I'll let the installers worry about it on Weds! I made the appt for the DVD and the XM install. I can't wait. I'm so excited!!

Besides that I probably won't do too many interior mods, I may darken the tint a little more. I don't like people seeing in..I've found that since I have a personalized plate everyone likes to look in my windows to see who owns the car and match the plate to the person.

My Caliber's plate was SXTSPRT and I think most assumed it stood for something related to sex not an SXT. :chuckle:

I had that with a mustang we owned too because the plate said N8STANG, as in Nate's Stang but some thought it said Nate's Tang! LMAO Which would make sense because I drove it most times.

Well right now it's got the transferred plate from my SXT Caliber, hence the SXTSPRT which sorta kinda works because my Nitro IS a SXT but the plate that belongs on my Nitro is on my R/T Caliber and says Roxy3.

I need to transfer them around, which unfortunately requires a trip to the DMV. :i_rolleyes:

Yes...I vaguely remember switching plates between vehicles when I took over my wife's care and got her a new one.....NOT an easy task in this state.....hope WI's better.
