How's it going? I just got home with my new nitro. Looking forward to getting into the new suv. I've traditionally been a Jeep and full size Chevy guy, but I needed mileage for new job. Does anyone know of any lift kits for these?

Hi kcrowe .. welcome to the forum. Lots of great info here, including some talk about lift kits.. I haven't done anything with them, but I'm sure that someone will answer your question soon.

Welcome to the forum.

There is a Jeep Liberty under your Nitro body, so you should feel at home.
I also have a full size chevy Surburban and the Nitro is fun becuase it feels so small and nimble compared to my 3/4 Ton Chevy.

Do a search and you will find some into on lift kits.

Keep in mind that although you can lift the Nitro a few inches, there is not enough front fenderwell clearance to go to much bigger tires.

Also note that the '08 Liberty skip plates will bolt right on.

I hope you don't expect high MPG like a 4 cyl crossover, the Nitro is a small, 4,000 pound truck.--- You'l get in the high teens city and low to mid 20's highway.
