Hello to all,
My new Inferno Red RT plowed throw 6 inches of freshly fallen snow here in SE Michigan and I have the 20" low profile wheels. I dropped her into 4WD and it was almost like the snow wasn't there. In 2WD the ESP was kicking in often but still seemed to get through it as well as can be expected with the wheels and the amount of snow.
I bought the Nitro partially for looks and partially with the misson of procuring a pop-up camper in the near future and I needed a vehicle that could pull 3500 to 5000 pound trailer weight. Little did I know you needed a special trailer hitch to achieve the 5000 load. I know I should have asked but I was "lured" into the dealership, coincidentally at the appropriate time to sell my Dodge Magnum SXT because its towing cap was limited to 2000#s. The dealer gave me a fair price for my old car (that needed some repairs) and I was in a hurry to get rid of it so the sales rep showed me this demo unit in the show room with trailer package alread installed. The towing information I got from the 2007 model year said 5000# with Towing package... it didn't say Weight Distributing Hitch, specifically.
So depending on the camper I get, I may need to get a different hitch system. I don't want to tow a 3000# camper with a max limit of 3500#s, I want more room to spare.
Anyway, I found this forum while looking for information on a little pesky problem I'm having with my Uconnect Handsfree thingy and my AT&T 8525 (HTC Hermes) Phone. It will pare, but won't stay pared after I leave the vehicle and move out of range, then come back. I'll search the forum before I make a post about it, but if anyone has simillar problems with their Uconnect (6 CD Changer, not Navigator type radio) feel free to point me in the right direction.
