Hello all, I just picked up my 07 SLT 3.7L on Saturday. I have 300 miles on it so far. The one thing I cannot understand is why more people do not own this truck. I have been looking for a new truck for months and they all look alike. Exploder, pathfinder, jeep, escape etc.. Then my wife spotted a white truck on the road that looked like nothing else. She came home and told me about it. She thought it was a range rover or mercedes. We looked it up on the net, and found it was the nitro, the next day I test drove one and bought it. I love it so far. The price, the look, the features, the turning heads, unique design and fun to drive feeling are all there.

The first truck I test drove at the dealer had a very noticable vibration at around 45 and 65 mph. The dealer immediately put it into service. I wound up taking another one on the lot that did not vibrate at all. What worried me was that 4 people (me, wife, salesman, parts guy) all drove it and felt the shake but the mechanic in the service dept said he did not notice anything wrong. Denial?

I read many of the stories here about the vibration and trans issues. I havent noticed anything yet on my truck but I am concerned. Are the vibration/transmission problems inevitable on every 4 speed nitro or does has it affected just a few units? What about the stuck throttle and all that? Are there symptons I should look out for? MY production date is 1/07

Thanks in advance for the replys...

Welcome Monk! Glad that you joined us! You should be ok I think that the problems were with the early models made in 06 , you can do a vin check at the Dodge web site to see if yours is affected . Mine was made 2/07 and I have had none of those problems. Enjoy your new ride and the forum ! there are lots of resources here and tech help too! :Racing:

Keep the wipes handy! ;) I know I have gotten a little paranoid about all I read but I have about 6600 miles on mine and no real problems so far a bowed window trim has been the only thing to take it in for
