Sorry to hear about your problems man. You already had 2 visits, one more (depending on the state you live in) attempt and the problem is not fixed, you can and should file a lemon law claim. I know I would. But try to see if they can fix the problem anyway, the Nitro is a bad motherkicker!

*EDIT*
BTW, I had to go to the dealer 4 times (only needed 3 attempts for my state) for my Caliber and a faulty exhaust issue I was having. I sent a huge letter to DCX complaining, filed with the BBB, and the NHTSA. Then ultimately, I filed a LEMON LAW CLAIM. Despite having traded the Caliber in for the Nitro, my lawyers are currently fighting for compensation on my behalf. I wasted lots of time and money going back and forth to the stinky dealership I purchased it from.
You could try writing a letter of complaint to Chrysler, but with punctuation.

I've never heard of the Lemon Law claim, obviously it something that doesn't exist in Canada. If it does I'm not aware of it. So if I'm understanding correctly when a repair attempt is made 2 or 3 times to correct a vehicle problem and it still is not fixed a lemon law claim can be made. With this claim what does it provide for the owner?
Yep, Lemon Laws are a set of US laws, but they vary by state. You should have gotten a Lemon Law pamphlet upon purchasing your Nitro so check the exact rules - but it might be your best bet right now :)
I believe lemon law applies to the car if you are buying it, but if you lease the lemon law dosent apply. atleast the last I herd. I could be wrong though.

Nitroman, again... depending on what state a consumer lives in, that person may be entitled to a refund of the purchase price OR lease payments. I think he should contact the Dept of Consumer Affairs for a more accurate answer even. This info comes directly out of the Owner's Rights pamphlet (Lemon Laws) that comes with a new Nitro.
