I purchased a 07 Nitro in December of last year and I have throughly enjoyed it. I have noticed a problem about a week ago where on the drivers side where you get into the car , by the drivers seat the hard plastic or whatever has broke. This seems like part of the seat and it makes a noise all the time now. Has anyone else seen the problem where this has broken or is it an isolated incident.

I haven't seen anything on the problem you mentioned, but try doing an advanced search in this forum and you may come up with something. I would think your Nitro would still be under warranty so you may want to contact your dealer. Good luck.

Hi Ted, welcome to the dark side, congrats on the purchase, black is the collest color on a nitro!! glad you found us! I have not noticed the plastic broken, I would bring it to the attention of service, maybe there was a weak spot to cause the break.

Welcome Ted, there have been a few members with that problem. I couldn't find the thread but if I remember rightly the dealer replaced it.

Welcome to the forum.

We had one post from a member with the same problem.

My panel was loose after my Leather seats were installed by the aftermarket shop so I know exactly what is going on. The panel has plastic clips and if they are not fully in, they can break off when you sit down.

The dealer will fix this for you.
