I'm new to the forum. I have a 2007 Nitro R/T in Inferno Red and love it. I found the forum while looking online for some add on items. I will have the chrome air deflector and sport bars tomorrow and I'm waiting (along with several of you) for the in channel window deflectors.

Newbie Checking In.

Hi everyone, I'm a soon to be Nitro owner in Tucson Arizona. I love this site, it is really helping my wife and I decide what we want in our Nitro. We should be ordering in a week or so. What we have decided on so far. SLT, 4x2, Black, 20 Inch Wheels, Sun Roof and Tow Package. We like the R/T but wish we could get it with a Chrome Grill, is this Possible?

Hello everyone. It's great that you guys are using NitroforumZ as a resourse. TusconNitro, sorry, no chrome grill surround for the R/T. The R/T is all about being monochrome. But is does have other advantages, namely - horsepower and a 5 speed auto. Which ever Nitro you buy, I am sure you will love it. Enjoy the forum!

You should be able to have EVERYTHING the R/T has without the paint if you order the options separately. It just wont have the RT badging.

But you couldn't get the 4.0 engine and 5-speed auto, since it's a package with the R/T.

Thanks guys for the info. My wife and I went to the dealer today, which is closed on Sunday. We spent the afternoon looking at the SLT and the R/T with no salesmen around which is nice. And we talked about each model and decided on the SLT. I told her its such a hard decision we should get one of each, she didn't go for it. If all goes well we should be ordering it next Sat. Thanks again guys, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions after we get it.
