I just purchased a 2007 dodge nitro and have been having the transmission shudder and had the torque convertor replaced and taken it to second dealership for work for this problem. I have been without my car for a week and going crazy and i hope that the problem is fixed or i am going to pull all of my hair out and get pissed. I live in rural area of ranger, texas. We are in between abilene and fort worth.

Welcome STORMYC31. Yes the T.C is a real issue with the 4 speed auto. I'm on my 3rd and so far it's working well. It seems there are good and bad ones. Some members have a horrific time with there's and others have no issues. Keep bugging them till you get a good one.
