I saw one for the first time today & darn the Liberty looks just like the Nitro from the side & back! Just wondering if the rear tailights mount up like the Nitro's as the aftermarket will be making LED lights for the Liberty.

I've been scouring and I mean literally SCOURING the internet looking for new lights. I was eying up '96 Jeep Cherokees because they looked like they might have the same size tail lights and I've seen lots of cool aftermarket tail lights for them. But I just saw a '96 Cherokee up close and it doesn't look like it'll work afterall. Too bad,because some of the aftermarket lights for the '96 Cherokee were really sweet. My search goes on.

how come there are no aftermarketlights out yet? Will there be anything or will they just leave the nitro? The day LEDs come out for the nitro ill buy them!! I cant wait...

In Delaware replacing your OEM lights are illegal. Even if they are LED's and brighter. Normally you don't have any problems, but if someone in the inspection lane wants to be a jerk they can fail you for it (Happend to my dad).

I've e-mailed IPCW a few times but they've never replied. They have some nice looking lights, just none for the Nitro \ '08 Liberty yet. I keep hoping they'll come out with something as they've done other Jeep tail lights in the past. Their website is www.ipcw.com

There's also a company called Spyder that has some nice light for other Jeep vehicles but none for the '08 Liberty yet (which would fit a Nitro). I can't seem to find a website for these guys though.

Sooner or later, somebody's got to come out with some nice tail lights. Right now, this is my Holy Grail, lol.
