A great start to my Thursday. So I get to work this morning go to get out of the Nitro and the A/C is still running. “Note” the car is off I wasn’t still asleep. So I get back in start the Nitro killed the Nitro A/C still running. So I just turn it down get inside the office call the local service department. They say bring it in Tuesday morning. I am like the A/C won’t go off. So you want me to tow it in Tuesday I don’t drive on the weekends so it is going to set outside with some electronic pulling current all weekend. Anyway I go outside a minute ago and the A/C will not even come on the gauge cluster lights up A/C light comes on but no compressor or blower motor. This sucks this is the first thing I have had go wrong with the Nitro.

Wow, bummer.

Glad it finally shut down rather than running all weekend!

Strange that it would continue running after the rig was shut off.

So my A/C went out Thursday Friday it started working. Saturday I remote started the Nitro and this is what I got. Pretty damn crazy. Here is a list of what it was doing. Doors locking and unlocking, front wiper running but jerking across the windshield, the rear wiper doing the same, the washer fluid was coming out slowly, Horn was blaring. When started the a/c did not come on nor would the CD player, the head lights where on and would not go off wile the parking lights where not on and in this hole time the key was not in the car and it was not running until I start it. I left the battery off for about an hour wile me and the wife went to get some lunch and came back hooked up the battery and everything is working fine.

For you Fire Fox users here is a download link.

Friend Minitruck, in your first post you said the A/C was running, but the engine was off/shut down. This is impossible, did you mean to say that the blower fan was running? Thanks, Douglas

Whoops ! I was thinking of the vid , An hour that should have worked if it reset , have you had an exorcist yet?
That's funny two people at work have said the something. It's got to be something with the can-2 system for everything to do that when the ignition turned off. and it seems to me that all the things going off where can controlled items.

Too strange. Vid is great documentation. Interesting to find out what the dealer says about that?

Well they said there was an update for the system in my Nitro with the upgraded ignition module, so they flashed it. They also fixed my A/C there was a flash update for that as well. So far so good!! I was impressed with the techs knowledge I thank he had had some schooling since I talked to him last.
