Got into the Nitro the other day after it's been rainin for awhile and noticed that the driver floor, underneath the seat and into the back had quite the water in it. Anyone have any speculation on how the water got into it? I noticed it must have been leakin for awhile as when it got cold the ice built up on the inside,, hard to scrape ice of the inside of the vehicle. Got it into the dealership for repair, but was hopin someone else knew.

Thanks

I've not had water enter there but I had a wet spot in the trunk last week after some torrential driving rain. I need to find where it was getting in and have it looked at. First time in a year and we've had some pretty good storms here.

Another member had a flood where you had yours. Use the search to try and find a thread on that subject...

Well took the truck into the dealer,, apparently when they were putting it together they somehow pinched the drain tube from the sunroof, causing it to leak instead of draining. they ended taking out both seats, roof liner, carpet and pad. They put it in the drying room for a day. So now it's back together and we'll see if it drains properly. So far no frost on the inside of the nitro yet we'll see when it rains if they pinched it or not.

I hope it's fixed now. There's nothing worse than frost on the inside..
