Thanks for the link!! It's always good to see personal pictures of car because they aren't airbrushed or lit so that every freakin part of the car shines. It makes it seem more like a real car and not a toy. I like what I see. Is that the SXT, the SLT, or the R/T? Also how does it handle? :D
Its the SLT with the 24F package. Also sunroof, 6 disc cd, with 8 speakers and subwoofer...........So far about 19mpg town almost 23 road. Only thing still evaluating is nite tiime driving. Another post here to read.
Dave,
That's good to hear on the mileage. Is yours a 4 wheel drive?
sorry bout that. Sould have been addressed to Dale:eek:

Steve Brittain............To answer your question 2WD

And who is Dale?????????????
I meant to put in David and instead used Dale. It was meant for you. I hope my 4 wheel drive will get the similar mileage.
Steve......... If you have looked at my Challenger link ,chapter 30, you may notice part pics of a Toyota SR5 '84 pickup. It is 4WD and I still get about 20mpg on it. I don't think the extra weight will hurt the Nitro very much.
This is the chaper 30 link......

My Nitro (SLT 4x4 with 3.7 mag) is getting average of 23 mpg at highway speed of 65miles....some conversions there from km and litres but it is pretty close.

I have actually been impresed with the mileage...used to have a Ram 1500 4x4...as speed went up gas gauge went down.... but it was great for the canadian winter. Just waiting to test the nitro in some adverse weather conditions.:D

Im averging 18 MPG right now w/ m SLT 4x2 however a majority of that has been city, actually being able to drive highway speeds in this city requires getting on highway at late hours of the night...and even then it can be a real mess :p
Hey Chef............18 is what they advertised.........Looks like they were close. On a trip we got 22.9 and it also had some town/city included

what city you located in.??

Im in Houston, Texas now - but I am moving to Orlando, FL in January..
Bet you will enjoy the sunroof there too......
Yep, and so will the ladies :p :D
Just remember that only two girls in the sunroof at a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
