What's up everyone. Just joined the club. I bought a white 07 Nitro SLT on Christmas Eve. Almost every option. I have 15,000. miles on it. No problems whatsoever with the vehicle. The Goodyear Wrangler tires are the down side. These tires are OK for winter driving but are no good for handling, etc. The also skip if you take off faster. Awful on turns at higher speeds. I have (on the way) a set of 17" HD WHEELS PYPZ in chrome (www.perfectlyround.com) and the new Vredestein (www.vredestein.com), Giugiaro designed Ultra-high performance 17" Ultrac Sessanta SUV tires. These are XL and high speed rated as well. According to the TESTS done by the company in Europe, besides being a performance tire, these have high marks for comfort and wear and will handle in the wet as well. These are summer tires so will be no good for winter driving. I'll probably be the first in the USA to have a set of these. I'll keep everyone posted. I'll post photos when I get them on the Nitro. It should be by the end of the month. I'd like to find out more about custom grilles for the Nitro. If anyone knows who is doing these, let me know. Performance chips as well.
Thanks,
Joey (cat007)
