According to Motor Trend's latest issue, the Magnun, Durango, Aspen, Crossfire, Pacifica and yes the Nitro may not be in the show rooms in 2011. What does this all mean???:SHOCKED:

The Magnum, Crossfire, Pacifica and PT Cruiser are officially to be cancelled next year, so they definitely won't be around for 2011.

Even the new Liberty, which was one of the best selling Jeeps is not selling well. I would like to think with some attention to some of the weaker points of the Nitro,it will catch on more than it has. The Nitro and Liberty are pretty new in the product cycle, as opposed to the others, to get the axe right away, i would think.

I'd be interested to see a hybrid nitro.. Maybe that would get some more buyers.

canceling Nitro

I read the same Motor Trend article and they were speculating, they said they hadn't heard anything like that officially from Dodge or Chrysler. Their article was about Chrysler's new owners streamlining the company and dumping duplicate vehicles. What they didn't say, you know the Chrysler Van and the Dodge Caravan are similar vehicles. I really doubt if Chrysler will stop selling their Town and Country Vans because Dodge is selling a simlar van. That's been the reasoning behind Chryslers Streamlining. It makes some sense with the Sebring and the Avenger. But lets wait until Dodge offically announces it. My local dealer got in about 10 Nitros about two months ago, they are all sold out of them and are awaiting for more. So maybe its supply and demand, they can't sell them if their not on lots.:Racing: Just my thoughts...
