I just purchased a 2007 Dodge Nitro, sunburst orange, for my wife and
she loves it , except for one thing. There is a bad wind noise/whistle
by the right front door/window and my dealer and an independent body
shop are having trouble foinding the cause and the service manager is
saying that it is just normal wind noise. (NOT) Has anyone else had that
problem. I am down in southern Oklahoma. ThaNKS

No, not normal. I don't recall any wind noise getting into my rig.

Hope they can find the problem.

I do have some wind noise, but nothing the volume on the radio cannot cover....if it is very bothersome, I would contact the service dept.

The noise is common on some of these rigs...Just turn up the stereo and enjoy...

thanks for the thread referral// helps plenty// I got the slt 2 wheel
drive with all the bells and whistles. Wife loves it but the dealer a pain.
The service manager a young girl that knows nothing except how to call
yhe tech line, but we will get through it.. Gonna try and get regional
service rep phone number and ream him a little... ha

My 2007 Nitro Has Noise Also. The Owners Manual Addresses This Problem And Likens It To The Sound From Helicopter Rotors. My Noise Goes Away When My Lab Sticks His Head Out The Window. Not A Good Fix Though. I Have Ordered Ventshade Visors For All Four Windows And The Sun Roof. Hopefully This Will Help. Jc Whitney Has A Real Good On Visors Right Now. No, I Do Not Work For Whitney. Just An Old Retired Navy Chief Living In Ocean Shores, Washington.

Thanks chief, I too am retired navy, haven't checked the owners manual
on the noise. Have heard that ventshades don't help, but can't hurt...
