I plan on going Stage 3 when it is paid off. Only owe 9 grand on it right now. I am going to try and pay it off next year.

More pics of the 4

I had the instuctors at the SRT track exp. Sign my injector cover.

I'll have to update my srt-4 pictures.

I'd have to pick the srt4 only because I know I'll regret selling mine. I sold mine just 2 weeks ago and now can't find the exact Nitro for the price I want to pay. Oh well, I guess it'll be the waiting game for me.

Not to pirate but here's a few pics of mine right before I sold it.

Looks nice man. I was lucky enough to keep my SRT4. It's kinda rough paying $900 a month in car payments though.:shakehead:

Yep, I know what you mean. I could have done it but don't like living that tight especially now with the economy being so sucky around here. That's one reason I've held off on a Nitro because of a new payment plus gas mpg. I just read in the local paper of 2 more plants practically closing their doors. That just means more people out of work and more repo's of cars and homes around here.

Maybe I'll just wait until next spring and get a new Challenger????:Racing:

Yep, I'm self employed too. Both my wife and I do a lot of different things. I run a moble bizz that installs aftermarket stuff on dealership vehicles like remote starters, vinyl, cruise controls. I also sell (well try to) realestate for my dad. In between that I sell insurance too!!!

I'm self employed myself (auto repair) and I have to save every penny I can during the seasonal times (I live in the Myrtle Beach area of SC) to make it through the off season times. Oct-Jan are rough on me. Feb-July is a mad house. Aug and Sept are a crap shoot it could go either way.
Speaking of those SRT-4s the first one of those I ran up on I was driving my everyday driver (03 Mustang GT Conv)(with some stuff) and the kid in the SRT-4 was next to me at the stoplight picking a race. I laughed at him before dropping the clutch and I hadn't been that embarassed since I was a young man and someones Grandpa nailed me with a Buick Stage1 Skylark, lol. The kid shook me up so bad with that turtle as soon as I got to the shop I ordered up a Vortech for the Mustang. I met him again about two months later. The story ended in my favor the second round but not much to brag about. For what they are those things are wicked nasty.

I understand about saving money... I have to save all my extras to get through the off season also. Dec - March. No one gets married in the snow here.

The SRT-4 are very quick cars for what they are. Unforchantley, most the people that own them are "punk" kids that can't just drive their car. They have to try and race everyone they see.:loser1:

Thanks for giving them props though.
"Everyone calls the SRT-4 a "neon" until it beats you. Now it's a "SRT-4".

Can't brag to your friends much for beating a neon. But they will make fur on you for loosing to one.

We just had annual "Mustang Week" here in Myrtle Beach and we had a couple of the young kids (I hate to call them punks because if I would have had a car that quick when I was there age I would have done the same thing:D) Show up at a midnight cruise where we had just about 30 cars heading out through the country. These two were driving around picking a race and just got totally humiliated by a few of the cars in out cruise. The next night whe we went on a blvd cruise they showed up again but this time were checking out the cars instead of picking a race. There are very few cars I'm truly impressed with when it comes to compact FWD 4 bangers. The ones I've driven I was impressed with were the SRT-4 Neon, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 and the Fusion WRX. All thse cars had been somewhat upgraded but not wildly. Of the three I think the EVO 8 really got my attention more. I wouldn't buy one but I sure don't mind driving one:Racing:

Keep in mind the only FWD car you listed there was the SRT. The others two are AWD. The evo 8 is a real nice ride, the evo 9 looks bad ass also.

I know my ride isn't the quickest. I trully like road coarse racing more than drag / straight line street.
