I was at my friendly neighborhood Dodge dealer today getting an oil change, and while waiting, I saw a promo sheet on switching the gas in the tires to Nitrogen, and how much better is was than regular old compressed 'air'. Wassup with that? They were selling the package for $89 ... seems like a waste. Any thoughts?

Hey if we put helium in Waldorf's tires do you think we could float it on the river? :thk:
if we did that not only would I squeak when I talked, but I might float away! maybe when the helium ran out I would crash onto your house!!! :chuckle::Racing::shakehead:

I did the Purigen fill with the new Nitro before I left work today. What I do know though I haven't done a ton of research, is that with the Purigen fill, you're less likely to have any psi loss due to climate.

Also a smoother ride than when I first took the Nitro on a test drive.

Nitrogen in my Nitro!

:wavey:
G'Day Eh?!
I'm floating on Nitrogen!:Na_Na_Na_Na:
Even have the little green valve caps!

Seems my dealer (Durham Dodge Chrysler), is ahead of the game!
I was told that it seems there are new "Laws" in the making , that will require all new vehicles to have nitrogen & sensors, in the tires, as it apparently severely reduces accidents due to improper tire inflation. :Racing:
Great idea, until every station is on board ........ :shakehead:

Had to get my tires topped up, as with the cold, the tire sensor came on. Went to the Dodge dealer next door to my work in the T dot, where they looked at me like I was from outer space :alien:, when I inquired about getting some Nitrogen for my Nitro.:thk:
Maybe they are in denial, but "They don't mess with THAT stuff!"
They did call around for me, no one else had Nitrogen either, but I could try Costco, or CanadianTire ......

So ..... back to my dealer for the top up, ...... done with a smile ..... ;)
