Delayed response, sorry

What is going on in Nitro world! Where am I? I am driving home today and I approach a house with an electric blue Nitro parked in the drive and the family also standing out in the drive, they spot me coming down the road and start waiving and jumping and pointing at their Nitro. They were absolutly thrilled to see a Nitro. I waived back.

I haven't made any mods. I got the Nitro at an auction last Wednesday with 2714 miles on it. It has vent visors on all four side windows. It also came with a power moonroof. I doubt I will do anything to it. I think it's great just like it is.

It has Sirius and it is activated. Will it stay on forever? If anyone knows how Sirius subscriptions on new Dodges work I'd like to know. I was already a Sirius subscriber and I am thinking about canceling my subscription if the Nitro's Sirius is going to stay active.

Thanks for your hospitality.

The Sirius subscription is for one year. For new Nitro purchasers, the dealer will activate the subscription for 3 months so the system works when you take delivery. It seems that the subscription that comes with the vehicle doesn't get activated until you call them. I took deliver of my Nitro in May 2007 and by September, the Sirius subscription was deactivated.

So I called the number on the MyGiG screen and they activated my subscription. I've since got a letter in the mail saying my subscription will expire in June of this year.

There are threads about this here.
