Well my cruise is not working. I just got the Nitro, have had it for about 3 weeks today I think. The cruise does not work. I cant really say if it ever has because today was the first time I tried to use it.

It a SXT 4x4 auto I push the button to turn it on and I get no light on the panel as well as it wont set. Any suggestions other then doing to the dealer?

sorry to hear that! It's never fun when something new doesn't work as advertised! I think you will need to get them to check the connections for the wiring. If nothing displays when you activate it as designed, then you only have one choice.

Yep that is what I thought. I will just set a time for that and any recalls that have not been taken care of. It is just a major ordeal for me to get my car in and then get to and from work .....blah.... Thanks

I hear you! I live 50km from where I work and the dealer is close to home. I've found out they can sometimes fit me in later in the day, so that works for me!

The same thing happened to me. I took it to my dealer, and the cruise element was bad. They replaced it and I am CRUISING again!!

What are you referring to when you say "cruise element"? Are you referring to the switch on the steering?

I have seen problems with the speed control switch that is mounted to the steering wheel in the past.

at least you have cruise control as a installed option. I was so excited when I bought my sxt that I didnt even noticed I didnt have it until a week later. I thought that was standard on SUV's? Anyways, too late now unless I want to spend a bunch of money to have it put on. Good luck to ya!
