I just bought a 2007 SXT with 9K miles, and after a week, I started getting the no engine crank and electronic lockup of the WCM, as described in TSB 08-007-08. The dealer doesn't know whats going on, even after I gave them the TSB. Four days in the shop, and the condition hasn't shown. But sure it will fail as soon as I get her home.

I agree this is likely your problem. One other thing to note and inform the dealer of when this happens, which should convince them to perform the TSB, is this. Confirm that your remote keyless entry doesn't operate when this happens. This is a symptom that isn't described in the TSB but is directly related to the WCM being locked-up. :smileup:

Based on your comment. I took the second beeper and put it in my briefcase. When the Nitro failed to startup, I used the second beeper and it started. It hasn't failed since, so it's probably the beeper. I talked to the dealer and they will replace it.
