Hey all-

I got just 2000 miles on my new Nitro (my first...and probably last, brand new car!).

I was driving along today, and the radio quit. There was a warning on the **** that said "no fuse". Well, I figured 'these things happen' but 4 miles later the radio came back on and the 'no fuse' warning disappeared. The stupid car shows no other signs that it had a problem.

WTF? Something anyone else has seen? I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow, but would like to find out if this is NOT uncommon, so I have some ammunition for this high-test car-sales community I live in.

TX-

Sheila

The only time I have ever seen "NO FUSE" on the D A S H readout was when my vehicle was brand new just off the truck and had not been serviced by a technician yet. You may just have a loose fuse. Check your fuse box. If you don't find anything yourself, see a Dodge Tech.

Here's a pic of the fuse that is likely causing your problem. It's called the IOD (Ignition Off Draw Fuse/Main Fuse location J13). Its probably not seat properly to engage the fuse completely or the fuse isn't making a good connection which will give your the "no Fuse" message. Vehicles get delivered from the factory with this fuse disengaged and when the Pre-Delivery Inspection is performed it is installed.
