Started off taking multiple attempts to start but would start. Then one day started stalling out while driving but would start back up. Got it home would start and run for a few minutes but rpm would gradually drop until it cut off. Now it won’t start all, P0300 and 305 code. Mechanic is saying no compression in cylinder 5 and he believes a valve is bent. Need feedback so I can determine how I want to proceed. 2011 dodge nitro

Welcome to the forum @Brian Alexander. When you have a chance, head over to the Newbie Section (<click this) and say "Hi".
Tell us a little about yourself and your ride.
That way we can welcome you all proper like.

What engine?
How many miles?
P0300 = Random/multiple cylinder(s)
P0305 = Cylinder 5 - misfire detected.

What plugs were used?
Only ZFR6F-11G should be used in the 3.7, changed every 30K miles. OEM is NGK brand, and is what I use
Do not use Platinum or Iridium plugs in the 3.7! They will only cause problems!
Do you have a ticking sound? Thinking maybe a lifter fell off a #5 valve.
