Hey guys..i recently wanted to do an oil change but somehow could not locate the oil filter..can someone shine some light on this matter...mine is a 2010 3.7l auto petrol...thanks in advance..cheers

The filter is located on the driver side lower corner of the engine (toward the front), and it is a pain to get to. You just about have to be a contortionist to remove it. I have read that it is easiest if you have the vehicle on a lift. Alas! I do not have a lift. UGH! The swapping of old for new oil filter is not impossible. Just hard to do. :rolleyes:

I always found it easier to reach backward over my head to get to it.
No hoist here, I just lay under it. My lift kit makes it simple. No ramps required. ;)

You will need plenty of rags either way. It has a "drip tray" that is supposed to direct the old oil away from the front axle. The key words here are supposed to.
